U.S. household net worth rose by a record high $6.93 trillion in 4Q 2020 to $130 tri

With so many people saving and enjoying the euphoric feeling of record highs, I can’t help but think this all seems too good to be true.

Once the economy is fully re-opened, it will be interesting to see how much people are willing to spend and the impact that will have on inflation. Will it be a non-event like many experts are expecting?

In my opinion, I think we are either underestimating the potential surge in inflation or a possible market correction. An abundance of wealth has been created this past year, unlike anything we have ever seen before. There are consequences to this - not saying it is bad, but when households are gaining 20% in wealth on an annual basis, it’s silly to think there is no cause for concern.

What are your thoughts?

submitted by /u/jejakqmqm
[link] [comments]Kind Regards R
