Feasibility of Youtube video strategies to "Retire at 30" and "earn a passive income

I've been seeing recently some Youtube videos about "How to retire at 30!" and "How to gain a passive income of $1000 per month". Naturally, this generates interest and curiosity. Basically these videos are suggesting to invest in REITs, ETFs, dividends.

As a newcomer, I cannot quite judge how feasible these strategies really are or whether its up to the investor and their tactics - but is it as easy as these videos make it out to be? The Youtuber is talking about how he just throws money into ETFs and Dividend stocks and they do the work for him.

submitted by /u/Pandawee42
[link] [comments]Kind Regards R
