Is there anyway around the "30 days before" part of wash sale rules

Today I sold out of a few stocks that I was down on, in order to harvest the loss for 2022. I realized after the sale I that had added somewhat to these positions a few weeks ago, so within 30 days. My understanding is that this is considered a wash sale. Is there any way I can still use these losses in my taxes for 2022 to offset some gains, or did I just complete screw myself by selling.

Edit: I sold ALL the shares I had of these stocks, including the shares I purchased a few weeks ago.

submitted by /u/elchucknorris300
[link] [comments]
